The journey began 55 years ago, as I sat beneath my mother’s sewing machine, mesmerized by the way she transformed yards of fabric into something magical. She wasn’t just a seamstress for our family—she also created stunning display pieces for a popular local fabric shop, inspiring others with her craft.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of “the bag,” filled with layers of fabric that she would unfurl across our dining room table. With the precision of a conductor guiding an orchestra, she paired patterns with fabric, bringing each piece to life. This quiet, unseen part of the journey—without an audience, without applause—was where the real magic happened. Every cut, every stitch, and every seam worked together to create something extraordinary. Though I didn’t fully understand my own path at the time, I fell in love with the process of transforming inspiration into reality.
As a child, I didn’t appreciate those moments nearly enough. But soon after graduating high school, I realized just how deeply I loved the feel of fabric and the art of design. Through decades of twists and turns, one thing remained constant: my passion for creativity, inspiration, and learning. That passion has shaped the person I am today, and it continues to guide me on this ever-evolving journey.
